Metal Stud Framing in Basement

I am trying to install metal stud framing in my basement. I wondered if I only need to put in screws on one side of the stud facing the center of basement? Or do I have to somehow pull the framing away from the wall and screw in the other side of the stud? Any suggestions, tips, help would be appreciated.

When I did mine with steel studs I don't recall trying to hit the back of the stud. The drywall attachment really solidifies the wall.
Try to shop around for steel stud insulation if you are insulating. May take a while to find it.
I used some of these kinds of clamps to hold the stud to the stud channel when screwing in the pan heads and it made it a bunch easier for me:

Good luck with it!

One side is fine.

Just make sure that you align your cut-outs (conduit holes) of the studs.
