lvl nailing pattern

I wouldn't use nails at all. The ridge beam for my log home is tripled 1-3/4 LVL, 12-inch x 36 feet. I don't recall the brand name, but I used some special hex-head screws designed for this purpose. Probably overkill, but I used three every two feet, then offset the same spacing on the other side. I have no idea what the code pattern is, because the inspector didn't even look at what I had done. There is no framing inspection here.
