liner in swimming pool

I have a pool liner that has the coping attached to the liner that fits over the wall. A portion of it came off during the winter. In order to reattach it do I have to drain the pool to get the liner lose enough to pull it over the wall or could I fill it to make it lose.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would imagine you're going to have to drain it. Ever try to get the winter cover off that still has water on it?

But, once you drain it, you have to work quickly . It will start to shrink . Also be very careful you don't disturb the line up of the skim basket and inlet holes or you'll be looking at a new one.

To get the water off, u have to siphon it off. Use a strip of old hose about 8 feet long to do it. Thanks for the reply.

I use a utility pump attached to a garden hose
