Level concrete area ?
Since you have poured concrete before, perhaps you can help me! I have a concrete area that slopes and the slope is about 6 inches. On top of the slope is a flat concrete area where I used to have shed. I want to level the whole concrete area as easy as poss, of course. I then want to stain the concrete. The area is not huge - maybe 300 square feet and it is outside. Any ideas?

I am thinking your reply as an auto response that did not generate from a live person actually looking at my post! Bear with me - I am female and worse yet, blonde. So, will someone actually post a helpful response and should I stay on line or can I go and make a cup of tea?

A 6" drop over what distance ?
1/4" per 4' is usually required for proper drainage
If you want to level off a 6" drop you would need a new slab poured as far as I know

Depending on the shape and how much force will be on the leveled plate you could cut grooves in the plate and then try to jack up or use 4x6s cut into long wedges and hammered in, to raise the plate. If it cracks along the grooves due to bending stress raise each lighter segment separately and pack the area between sections with a flexible filler.
