length of trim nails

Do you guys use 2" or 2 1/2" nails for air nailer (15 guage) for baseboard and outside of door casing? I would think you need at least 2 1/2" for crown moulding also

Sounds about right but I don't use the 2 1/2 trim nails on the brick mold as they usually will rust and the brick mold is 1 1/4 inch on the outside edge and with 1/2 sheathing that leaves you only 3/4 inch of nail holding.
