Leaving a garage with exposed studs?

I'm renovating my single-car garage and have started to rip down the plasterwall boards...leaving the exposed wooden walls and studs. I'm really liking the look of the wood and am wondering about leaving the garage that way. Finishing it off with a nice clear/gloss stain. Searching around the Internet for photos of rooms with exposed studs and I haven't found any. Are there any reasons why I wouldn't want to leave it exposed?

Thanks!

Thanks for responding.

Its attached/adjacent to the house, however you cannot enter the house through the garage...there's no door to the home. The side of the garage that is adjacent to the home is insulated. I figured I would panel that side and leave the other walls and ceiling exposed.

Another issue...there are hundreds of nails jutting in from the outside asbestos siding. I was thinking of trimming all the nail-tips flat to the wood.
