leaking concrete wellcover/manhole


This manhole opens to the corner of my basement. More specifically it's directly over my well head, so that you can pull the pipe/motor out in one piece if needed.

As you can see it's in terrible shape and leaks. There is an overhang covering about the back half of it.

I'm wondering how to go about sealing it up. Should clean it up and put some sort of concrete over it?

I'm also considering building some sort of structure over it if needed.
