leak in cement block "foundation" of bulkhead...
 
I had a new bulkhead installed in2006. The underground foundation is made of solid cement blocks and mortar. On one side, just below ground level, the actual blocks are leaking water on one side. There is only a 5" space between the edge of the bulkheasd and the porch foundation--a person can't fit beside the bulkhead.. I can't see any big cracks--the blocks themselves just have water seeping through. Will this have to be ripped out to try to fix it?

you mean ' grout filled ' conc blocks,s right ? sure would help if you had a picture here :eek: where's the water coming from ? as you probably suspect, water penetrating blocks is NOT a good thing :mad:

another question - WHY a bulkhead ?
