The most obvious answer to your vague question is.....

To obtain a 6 x 12 laminated dimension you need (3) 2x12 x 12' with 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood sandwiched between the layers. (or just 4 - 2x12's )
This equals 4-1/2" plus 1-1/2" ..........

and (1) 3/4 x 6" x 12' added to the top or bottom to bring the 11-1/4" up to 12"

Is this what you were asking?
