laminate flooring


how expensive is laminate vs carpet or wood.....

laminate flooring


all varies. lower cost carpet and laminate is $1 a square foot. you can get better quality for 1.50-2.00 a square foot. nice, like really nice carpet starts at $3 a square foot which is exactly where real hardwood starts. you can spend over $6 a square if you really try but i have yet to see any material that i think is worth that money. the only exception may be plank old growth in mint condition and of a rare species that's milled and beveled. that only would demand such a premium because of the rarity
