KoolKrete Surface

Not sure where to post this-- so here goes--

The concrete decking surrounding my pool and the patio is surfaced with somthing that was called KoolKrete (sp?). This was in place when we bought the house.

Its a coating that causes the sun's heat to dissipate. It works great-- heat of the day we can walk barefoot w/o a problem.

Question-- Where can I get this stuff ? There are a few small places where its beginning to come off. I thought it best to catch this before it gets worse.

Question- It's dirty. I thought that cleaning it with a power washer would work. It helped some, but apparently its become stained. Its not stained in spots like where somthing has been sitting-- its large open areas where just daily dirt has set.

Anyone had experience cleaning this stuff ? I've got a 2600 psi washer. I am afraid that if I rent a stronger model, it may peal off the coating. I've tried applying a concrete cleaning soap-- no help.
