Kitchen Layout - What one is better?

Your thinking inside the box.... literally...

In your last pic....Wall F.....if it's not load bearing....get rid of it and the door...

If it was me, I'd get rid of the wall and door....put the stove top in an island...with the vent hood above it...

In my neighborhood, the houses are only 1000-1200 sq ft....our new neighbors on both sides took out the walls between the kitchen and family/living room....talk about a big difference...

Agreed that would be my next suggestion.

The flip the location of the stove and fridge if you don't care for it in the island.

That would be a typical layout for a Kitchen. But I personally would like two 36" base cabinets flanking the stove. That 24" & 18" does not do it for me.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?

The exhaust fan, I agree with... it eats up space. But, if you want to anger the average woman, give her a kitchen without a view. Even if it's not a window, at least a pass-through.

And, I'm deadly serious about that!
