Keyless Door Lock?

1 Attachment(s)
I am looking for a keyless door lock for a friends interior door that does not require screws in the door face as does a conventional barrel bolt.

I remember seeing a door lock similar to the illustration, in shiny brass plated steel. When the door is closed the hinged portion is swung 90
where when it contacts the door face it drops down slightly to latch in position and preventing the door from opening.

To open the door the latch is lifted slightly and swung out of the way. Does anybody know where I can get one of these?

I believe I've seen similiar at Home Depot, in the section by the replacement strike plates, bifold door hdwr, sliding glass door handle replacements, etc.
But I think they were just a stand alone add on, not something that replaced the strike plate.

Thanks for the Link, Troubleseeker has a good memory. My own memory was not so good as I thought they were part of a lock strike, but now that I see one, I realize that rather than being a lock strike, it is a separate latch that mounts on the jamb up higher so that little playing hands cannot accidentally lock themselves in.

The latch is designed so that it can be mounted on the inside of a RH or LH door. The package includes two #6 x3/4 flat head mounting screws and one very small and short anti-Lock out #1 round head threaded screw. If the door opening direction was reversed the screw would be in the other hole, but then it is easy to remember. The screw always goes in the bottom hole, with the head in the direction shown.

Thanks again,
