Interior Doors
We are having a very hard time hanging our doors. They are called a fast fit door kit, but they are nothing but fast!! We cannot get the door to fit 1/8" from the door frame. We followed the enclosed instructions and searched on line for tips, to no avail. What are we doing wrong? Should we get the prehung doors instead? Any advise is appreciated.

Can you plane the door down?

...Maybe the "Fast Fit"....refers to how quickly the doors can make you have a "fit".

Doors require adjustments. The previous door, may have been "tweaked" to fit into that opening. You may have to tweak the new door a little as well...

It is brand new construction. We can't seem to square everything, i.e. door jamb, door, etc.

Don't have any idea what a "fast fit door kit" is. Can you give more info or picture. Why would you not use a pre hung, especially in new consruction? Are you recycleing some special salvage door blanks.
