insulation question

hello everyone, forgive me if this has been covered previously, and thank you in advance for any and all help.My question is, The house i bought has a finished room above the garage, kneewalls on both long walls, being the biggest room in the house, naturally my bedroom, problem is its very tempermental with the seasons,I have an access door on each wall, inside the eaves, the kneewall is insulated but the plywood sheeting for the roof is not, Is that normal? and as i have a pile of 3/4 inch think sheets of pink board, i think i said it has an r30 value, was wondering if i could sheet the bottom of the rafters inside the kneewall with this? if there is any information i left out let me know ,and again thank you

insulation question

insulate the knee wall more, using the rigid foam if you can; seal the joints w/ foam and tape. leave the roof sheathing alone. you want your insulation against the exterior wall of your living space. you can spray foam the sheathing, but that opens a can of worms. do a search here; lots of threads on this.

insulation question

R-30 for 3/4" may be a little high; http://www.energysavers.gov/your_hom.../mytopic=11620

Is the sloped ceiling vented from below (knee wall) attic (4.2.1.2); http://building.dow.com/ee/pdf/ESR-2142.pdf
