insulation and nesting problems

Newbie user to the listserve.

I am renovation an old 1905 cabin without utilities. Among other things, adding wall insulation, probably batts. We do have a rodent problem with field mice when we are not there for longer periods. Anyone know is there a type that will reduce chances of nesting or a "nest unfriendly" material?

Could you indicate if you have products that you would suggest based on experience and knowledge, and any tricks to using them?

Thanks

does this involve an additive to the insulation or a brand/type?

additive to the insulation, ask at local store for rodent/bug/fire repellent cellulose. brand name should not matter. they should steer you to the right stuff.
