I'm having a new home built and although I've had insulation blown in the attic of my other homes, which was usually pink, I've never seen this stuff before. What is this? It looks like it's made out of paper. Is it any good?

BTW, although you can't read it, they've apparently blown 10" of this stuff in my attic. Is that adequate for the mid-Atlantic area?

Looks like they did a good it settles, it actually becomes tighter and does not loose the R value as much as claimed.
