I have a century home (1865) triple-brick, balloon framed construction.
There is a mixture of fiberglass batt and blown-in cellulose (8" total) attic insulation. I just installed rafter baffles in preparation for more blown-in (up to R50). While in the attic I noticed the balloon-framed interior walls- Should I cap the walls with wood, cover well with batts or insulate from the inside with Roxul when I replace the deteriorated lathe & plaster walls this spring?
There is only one spot on the roof without snow- right above one of the interior walls.
thanks in advance for your advice
