well the vinyl siding on my house right now is the thin contractor cheap stuff... and when it was built they didn't even overlap pieces more then 1/8 of an inch, so when the house expans and contracts gaps start to show.... so starting to think about residing it...
I want to go with the insulated siding, not just because its insulated, but since it will help dampen noise penetration, and make the siding more rigid.
but what is out there in terms of choices? I saw "drop in" and "laminated" what's the difference? does one have the insulation attached to it and the other just have insulation pieces you put in?
whats the cost difference between it and hollow siding?
any ideas on who the best company is making it right now?
