Installing soap dish on tub wall?

Hi everyone,
I finished installing my ceramic tile on my tub. I need to install a decorative soap dish that weights I would say around 2lbs. Its made of some sort of stone, I cut the tile and left the correct space for the soap dish. What's the Best adhesive to mount this? Do I use mortar? Do I use silicone? Do I use construction adhesive. The back of the wall is cementboard. Thanks, would like a strong adhesive, don't want this falling on someones toes, lol. Thanks

Good old fashioned thinset.

Use duct tape to hold it in place while it sets up.

Thanks thekctermite, your always there for the rescue! Should I use the powder one, the same one used for the tile setting. I have a bag with some, buts its about 6 months old, will it be okay? Also should I spray wet the cement board as well as the soap dish on the back before applying the thinset? Also do I use the trowel, or do I just smack a ton of it, lol.

Thanks for the quick reply
