Looking for ideas (pics would be ideal) for covering up my sump pump hole in the basement. A few details to help: my current sump hole is covered by a built-in closet with door and shelves. It is along the foundation wall in the main living room area that is easily noticed. We will be replacing the sump hole with a new one and it will be bigger than the current one (thus, bring it out further from the wall). We have discussed just putting up another closet, but the closet would be pretty big due the increased size of the hole, thus creating a large closet in the middle of my basement living room (which might look odd). I have thought of other ideas such as a built-in tv stand (although i don't have cable hook up on that wall), built-in shelves, or just a simple flat shelf that would hold a lamp or something. I realize I need to keep access easy and will also have to somehow cover up the PVC piping that runs up the wall and out of the house. So, ideas would be great and pics would even be better! Thanks in advance.
