does anyone know of an adjusting system to use with the top of an ibeam used to support a bowed basement wall?

You're better off buying engineered hardware (there are a couple systems out there). I wouldn't recommend DIY hardware. And I wouldn't recommend a DIY bowed wall mitigation plan without an engineer's review. I doubt you'd get a permit approved, either.
