i wanted to know


for riverside county what is the cost per square foot. i am wanting to add 3 bedrooms to my house no bathrooms. so no plumbing just electrical , air , 1 interior door and 1 exterior door per room.

guess you should give us some details?is the add on attached to an existing single story?are you planning to add your addition to the back yard?3 bedrooms and hallway.540 sq feet?
will you be the owner builder?
If so....close to 40 thousand +/-

Oh boy....another price question......

I'm not that far from you....talking to the contractors here...price can be anywhere from $100 to $150/sq ft.

That does not include permits or drawings.

How many bathrooms do you currently have (on each floor..)
Pretty sure that most municipalities have a requirement for the ratio of bedrooms to bathrooms.

Also, if you are going to add that many bedrooms, the building department is probably going to ask you about the size of your septic system.

You need to talk to your local buildings/code guy....and an Architect/project manager at a minimum.

Here we go again, like somehow magically we the responders will arrive via telepathically at what the OP is thinking and arrive at an appropriate price for the job they have in there mind.

Like Andy has said +35 = $250 a square for imaginary plans, execution and final payment.

Well if you really want quality you have to go with the higher priced guy.

I will have my man on it tomorrow, I hope you don't mind him he kind of reminds me of Forest Gump, full of great proverbs from his mother.
