I want to get my pump system and 50gal hot water heater out of the garage. Way too cluttered the way it's set up, and I figure if I can just attach a small outbuilding to the side of my house, it'll give me a little more space in my already small garage, as well as cleaning up the plumbing to the pump system and water heater, and preventing any leaks from flooding the garage.
It's going to be a pretty small slab, probably 3'x6', and the ceiling will only be tall enough to accomodate the water heater.
How thick do I need the slab to be?
Do I need rebar in it, or can i just buy a sheet of that wire mesh?
Frost line here is only 4-6" below grade (I've never seen it get below 28* in my lifetime) do I need to pour footings for a small slab like this? If so, how large do they need to be?
If I'm missing any info, let me know and i'll provide it ASAP.
