i need help with an estimate

I new at all the costs. i have a bungalo 14x55. i would like to strip it to 1 wall or demo it resulting in a 35x40sf semi attatched 3br each brick house. im trying to get an estimate for materials alone if i do the work myself. and need ur opinion if i should just demo it.

Sorry to be a smart arse but too many variables for any type of answer. Actually, I'm not even clear as to what your question is. Try again, being clear as to what you have and what you think you want to do. Pictures sometimes help but in this case, clear, coherent sentences will suffice for now.

In some areas of the country (USA) if you leave 1 wall and part of the
original floor in place, you can build a much larger structure on a
remodeling permit. If you don't leave the wall, you must get a new
construction permit. Depending on where you are, the difference
can be many thousands of dollars in permit costs and land use
fees.
As for a materials estimate, you need to get a set of prints together
and take them to a local lumber yard or construction supply yard.
Putting together an estimate like yours is a lot of work...but they
will be happy to do it to get your business.
