Hybrid Deck - Is Pressure Treated + Composite Feasible?

Completely new to building decks here.

Is it possible to build a deck out of both pressure treated wood and composite material?

What I have envisioned is a pressure treated base/beams using the expensive composite pieces only where you can actually see them.

Is this even possible? Or is this how they are normally built?

Is there a good online calculator I can use to estimate how much the materials will cost?

Hybrid Deck - Is Pressure Treated + Composite Feasible?

Decks are always built with pressure treated lumber as the frame. (joists and posts and stair stringers) this is code. Better decks will have the composites used for the decking and even the railings. Deck materials with composites will cost about $10-12.50 Sq/st Railings can range from $50 -350 ln/ft Labor. average deck of 250 sq ft will take two men 4 days to complete. One for layout and pillars one for framing one for decking one for trim and railings ,stairs and skirting.

That is how it is done.
Framework is constructed out of Pressure Treated Lumber. Deck boards and railings can be composite.

You can also go to Lowes and they can build your deck on a program similar to autocad that will also give you a shopping list and pricing.
