How to smooth out cement/concrete walls

Rosemarys Newbie     Join Date: Nov 2012 Location: Cali Posts: 8	How to smooth out cement/concrete walls The house I'm purchasing has this cement texture like walls that I would like to smooth out. If I could do this myself, what do I need? For a 10 by 10 room, how much would this cost me? Should I hire a skilled person instead?

I'm researching in advance since I would like to get an idea of how much I will be spending with ceilings, walls, paint, flooring, etc. Thanks for the respond. I will update ASAP.
