How to replace 10"x6" Wood Girder and with the steel? What size it would be?

The structure in the basement is a 10" X 6" Wood Girder that runs along where the new wall is proposed around 6'-8" from the eastern wall ( the one with both bathrooms). Floor framing is 4x7 Joists 16" OC. IThe wood girder was originally supported by 5 wood columns spaced equally apart. Three were removed and relocated about 18" closer to the party wall(replaced with steel columns). We want to put back the original columns and also replace the wood girder with a steel one. What size should it be? Let me know if you need any other information. Its a two story masonry building built in 1901. Height is 30' in the front and about 26' in the back. Thanks

You need a structural engineer or an architect to size the beam, no one on this forum can possibly size a main beam over the internet. And if they were foolish enough to be willing to do so, would you trust their results?
