How to remove Built-in Electric Fireplace
I took out all the internal parts of the fireplace. I was wondering how I can remove the rest of the unit. It looks like there is an inside frame that has been secured to an outside frame (screws go from outside to inside) that was pushed into the space.
Can a just take a razor blade and cut around the outside frame. I think I can remove this face frame then slide out the unit.
Does this sound correct.
Also the thermostat is located on the wall next to the fireplace. Is there a way to close off these wires and cover them up? Or should I try to remove them from the wall?
I'm going to use a crow bar and hammer to remove the front frame. Since no one knows then I guess I'll find out what works. I didn't want to ruin the unit too much but it would probably be very difficult to sell anyways.
