Question

how often to relube an air compressor ?

i have a makita heavy beast one double hot dog which works really nicely and relatively quietly. the gauge shows a good level still but was wondering if it needs to be replaced kind of like motor oil (which it essentially is) and how frequently ?

It is based on hours of use, and it does require a certain blend or weight of oil in compressors just like certain engines take different types. I bet that Makita has a downloadable manual on their website, or you could call a Makita service center.
