You need to verify distances...can't really estimate
Distance between roof rafters 16", 24"
Distance between 2x4's - 16" , 24" ?
Span of the 2x4's to inside edge of wall stud

2x6 rafters 16" OC are the min rafter required depending upon distance between rafters & exact span
The 2x4's do not meet code for a ceiling joist or to hold any weight
The 1x2 is holding the 2x4 up, placing more weight on the roof structure
Adding weight to the 2x4's adds the weight to the roof

With min sizing on the roof rafters & living in a snow area a snow storm could cause the whole roof to collapse with that added weight across the 2x4's
That is the concern & why everyone is saying this is not built to hold any weight

Exact measurements & spans are needed
But basically this was never built to hold weight

How much load can this support?

thats understandable. im sure it was all previously built by homeowners not prefessional builders.

Ill get you guys measurements, as I really dont know anything about this, I was told that they used to store lots of things up there (there is even a pull down staircase) but i know that doesnt make it right

Thanks

I wouldn't add any load to that without reinforcement.

How is the truss going to support the load?
