How much deck pitch?

What is the general rule for the pitch of a deck so that water runs away from house?

If it's just a pressure treated wooden deck and is built right there is no pitch needed.

Got any pictures or more info, sure would help so we do not have to guess.

There is no specific code or regulation.

However, we have always set them at a pitch as Bondo stated above. It is not noticable to the human eye.

a regular deck doesnt need pitch. the water will run off betweeen the boards

if you using duradeck treat it as a flat roof. frame the deck level then create furring strips to create 1/8 " per foot slope or whatever duradeck recommonds
