How to get an entry door to sit tight against weatherstripping?

Just installed a new entry door. It's plum, level, square...but the door doesn't seal properly against weatherstripping (there is a slight gap where I can feel air coming in and can see a little light coming from outside).

Would it make sense, since when I push on the door lightly it seem to seal properly, to move the striker plate slightly towards the exterior to hold the door shut better? It's a $200 door from Lowes, so I'm not expecting it to be perfect, but would like to get a good seal.

Thoughts and suggestions much appreciated.

That is what I would do and don't forget the deadbolt striker also.
