how to finish beasment walls


hello I like to finish some walls in a beasment . Dint want to build a rame walls was thinking about 2 options walls are from cinder bllock they are dry
1. put on a walls any quickwall cement finish tinset mortal ? and make any faux finish on it . Not sure what to use
2 furring strips ( dont like wood one ) where and how much cost metal one and sheetrack finish ?

I put 1" foam on the walls, tuck tape, and then put a steel stud wall up. 3 5/8" steel studs with 3 1/2" fiberglass insulation made for steel studs, it's a little bit wider. Emt for the electrical. Warm and straight walls with no dust and the studs are lightweight.
