Hello! I have cut house numbers from sheet metal and need to adhere them to my house which has a stucco exterior. There are no holes in the numbers or supports on the back from which to hang them, so I would like to glue them, though not permanently, so Gorilla Glue is out. I tried grout but it did not hold. Any recommendations? Thank you for your time. firstname.lastname@example.org
Clear silicone adhesive/sealer globs (several small ones per number) will do fine and can make up the texture and surface variations. Depending on the weight and thickness, use something like duct tape to temporarily hold them in place for a day, since gravity can male them creep downward.
I put some up 15-20 years ago on brick and last I saw, they still looked fine.
