You'll need to provide an awful lot more information ... Depends what the house is built of (timber frame, brick, straw & mud, steel and concrete, premade panels, etc), how big the crew is, what tools and equipment the crew has, what style of house, how many floors, how many rooms, what experience the builder has, location (how close to suppliers), architectural features, etc etc.

House 'shell'

An old man was cutting wood in a clearing.

He was interrupted by an impatient young man.

"How long will it take me to walk to Scarborough?"Demanded the youth.

" Sorry, but I do not know." answered the old man.

The young man cursed the old man and walked away across the clearing.

As he was about to enter the woods the old man called out," About two hours and fifteen minutes."

"Why didn't you tell me when I first asked you?" demanded the impatient fellow.

"When you first asked,I did not know how fast you walked." Smiled the old man.
