Home built in 1860 - leaking basement b/c of a compromised foundation

The basement is wet b/c the water is getting in. The foundation is big stones from the creek held together with mortar. What are the options in repairing?

I think we're going to need a bit more information in order to give you any useful advice. Is the foundation stable but just allowing water in? Has there been recent settling? How long has it been in its current state? Is the floor paved or dirt? When you say "repaired", are you looking to simply make the basement dry? What do you want to make the basement suitable for, functionally?

Step one: regrade ground outside to get water away from home; direct downspout water at least 5' or more.
