Hired licensed contractor past electrical inspection but incomplete
He finished couple months ago with addition. Want to install electric wall oven. Called for estimates and realized after seeing several Electrician that wiring wasn't inspected up to code and improperly done. What should we do? Permit for electrical don't think we have but check list and initial from inspector states he checked. We looked to see and shows on plan finalized. What should we do?

You post makes little since to me.
Not sure how anyone here is going to know just what it is that does not meet code without seeing it. Why not call back the guy who did the work to fix it? |

Hired licensed contractor past electrical inspection but incomplete
For some people this is a DIY site.
They want to do something themselves and ask questions about how (or why). For others it seems this is a "how do I deal with contractors" site. The first step is for both parties to agree to speak the same language. Both in the literal sense (eg English) but also the technical sense (accurate terms). hth |
