Help with roof framing addition

Hi,

I am looking for a little direction on how to frame a new front entry roof addition to my existing house. I have included a few pictures of the new and old. The main base of the roof section is 12' wide with 2' eaves supported by the 2 columns which are 30" square. I am looking for input on how to tie into the existing roof and frame the new hip roof. Any suggestions on web sites or books would be great as well. I work off the old addage of "a picture is worth a thousand words". Thanks
