Help determining header size

Blocking - that makes sense!

The joists below the door run, thankfully, all the way from the external foundation wall/plate to a very hefty beam under the far side of the aforementioned narrow hall. They seem pretty well bolstered and generally in good shape.

I thought I had just put together a much better side picture but it seems to have disappeared.


Except for the ones that have been completely cut and blocked because someone couldn't be bothered to have a 1" longer run on the toilet pipe. But, that's a different project...
