HELP With 24lbs chandellier

Installing a 24 lbs Chandeller. My question is I mounted the chandellier to a Hook that I screwed into the joist above my living room. I don't know the rating load on this hook. Scared of it failing down its a $1000 fixture and weighs 24lbs. It's been up for 24 hrs now. Should I be worried, it's seam solid it can tug on it and seams pretty strong he r some pics

Since no one know what the hook even looks like hard to say.
Post a picture.
Should have been mounted to a heavy duty box to make the wiring connections.

My iPhone won't let me load the pics,I bought the biggest hook they had & I'm not mounting it to my electrical box

if you mounted the hook directly center up through the joist then it is most likely plenty strong, I'm assuming you bought an over 100 lb hook.

What did the manufacturer say about mounting it? This is the best method to use.

You ask if you should be worried 24/hrs later. Use a little bit of common sense and take it down and figure out the right way to hang it.

What good does it do you hanging on a hook that you know nothing about worrying about there being a chance of it falling???

Figure our the right way to do something BEFORE you do it...

Doesn't anyone have common sense anymore...
