Header issue

Situation:
Framed up an addition, no issue with headers.

Had someone come in and frame the roof and now the headers over the windows stick out about 1/2" in some spots. Can't seem to get them back in. Even tried 5 1/2" lags but no luck.

Any ideas?

Even been tempted to pull the 2x12 and then yank out the first 1/2" ply and put the 2x12 back.

Might help if you told us how it was framed and post a picture.

Are they 2 X 4 or 2 X 6 walls?

Not sure how have a roof put on would have anything to do with moving a header.

2x6 walls.
Don't have a picture available at this time.
Just a 3 foot 2x12 header with ply sandwiched in.
Not sure what they did...

But 6 of the 8 headers now have this issue from 1/4 to 1/2" out.

Looks like boards are warped or something which they weren't when it went in. Tried big jorgensen clamps and still can't get them back in...

Did you cut the nails connecting it to the king stud before trying the clamps?

How many nails are in the end of that board btw?
