This header give me a headache
I am looking to change my existing closet in my master bedroom and had a question about a header. Right now, the closet is 10 feet wide by 26 inches deep and is seperated by a wall. There are two seperate 30 inch doors to access each side of the closet. What I am looking to do is remove the wall seperating both side and the space in between the two doors that access either side of the closet and make it one big closet with sliding closet doors. Just wondering if I need a header, I have been told it is not a load bearing wall or can I just take the studs out that are in my way and move forward? Any help is appreciated.
