Have some pictures of a cathedral ceiling. I might have some concerns
I opened up the ceiling for a kitchen remodel and have a good look at the structure for the cathedral ceiling they did before I bought the house. I did notice some of the truss members (look at picture I think 3) are no longer connected to anything on the central load bearing wall of the house (typical ranch) in fact I can move them around freely. Also the new 2x6 they added for the cathedral ceiling is not attached to the outside headers; I can wiggle that around too. I am unfamiliar with what else is going on in the pictures as far as load/supports so some info would be much appreciated.
