hanging an awning

I need to hang an 18 foot motorized awning that ways about 125 pounds. the awning comes with 7 two fastener brackets. The awning will extend out about 10 feet and will be mounted about 10 feet off the ground.
Unfortunately, the side of the building is covered with stucco and behind the stucco is hollow concrete block.
Can you suggest the type of fastner and how you would recommend avoiding the joints of the block?

Thanks

You may need to attach a ledger board first. If you do that then the brackets can be attached where they need to be. Attach the ledger into the hollows of the block with toggle bolts. Use wood screws into the ledger.

header board for awning

Thanks for the info. Thought about doing that but the manufacturer recommends against it but they wouldn't say why. I'll probably do it that way any way.
Thanks for your reply.

martin.
