Guard post hold-down anchor question.


How do I secure a guard post to the rim joist that is angled to the floor joists? This deck is dog-earred on the outside corners for a span of 10 feet.

Guard post hold-down anchor question.


Add blocking making right angles to your rim joist. Through-bolt your post in place.
