grout problem

anyone ever use Mapei premixed grout/adhesive. I used it last year for a tiling job and it's starting to soften and fall out near the bottom of the shower. It was the first time i ever used the premixed. I'm gonna remove it and use unmixed grout. Just wondering if anybody might know anything about this.

grout problem

Never use anything labeled pre-mixed in a shower/wet environment. It will always soften up no matter which brand.

grout problem

The premixed stuff is not made with portland cement. It will loosen up and feel like toothpaste when it comes in contact with moisture. The proper product to use is thin-set and grout made with portland cement that is bought dry and mixed with water.
