Gossen Decking?

Hello,

We're looking to add a deck to our home. I have pretty much decided on PVC decking, since I never want to pick up a paint brush again...


I had originally set my sights on TimberTech XLM decking, but my supplier has had nothing but praise to say about the Gossen Passport decking. He says it's cheaper, holds its color better, and is just better overall.

I don't know if he gets any kickback for selling their product or not, but he seemed somewhat genuine. I was hoping somebody here could provide some input, before I pull the trigger tomorrow?

I came across that not too long ago. It doesn't really give me a definitive answer though.

I know people over there strongly tout IPE, which I may price today for kicks, but my deck design is already approved for 12"oc joists, just so I could go PVC.

I was hoping for some input from owners, and their experience with the products. I know these PVC decks are big money, but are they worth the cost???
