Getting Rid of weeds from concrete joints

I have concrete poured in my back yard, but I have been noticing that weeds/grass grows up at the concrete joints. I am thinking of installing tiles on top of the concrete so that no weeds show up from those joints. The area for the tiles shall be around 5000 sq. ft and the cost of getting tiles installed shall be quite a lot.
Can some one suggest me a proper solution at a reasonable cost?

I want my back yard concrete to be presentable.

Let me guess, you have been using Round Up but it comes back in a few weeks.
Not going to ever work.
Clean out the cracks with a pressure washer or high pressure garden hose and let dry. Now use total vegitation killer. Now it will stay gone for 12 months

In most cases, the weeds are caused by seeds that have blown into the, doing like joecaption will work well....I would take it a step futher....fill the cracks with gray RTV....that will keep the seeds from having a place to land.
Even if you are on the right track, you will still get run over if you just sit there.
