gate repair
I am trying to install an anti-sag gate kit, but have run into a problem. I need to find out how I can put in screws on the bottom board when there is only about 4" clearance from the ground to the board. Obliviously I can get the side screws in, but not quite sure how I am suppose to screw into that bottom piece. there is not enough room for a regular screwdriver, let alone a power one. Suggestions please - I have limited tools.

Remove the gate, install the screws, reinstall the gate.

I know, it sounds simple enough, but I am not able to do that by myself. The gate is big and way too heavy. I would like to figure out how it could be done without someone having to help me. I know, I am too darn independent-been told that all my life. Thanks anyway!

what type of material is the ground?
you could always dig a small hole, open gate over the hole ... attach screws. no cost if you can do it this way. |
